Google has introduced Gemini Spark, an autonomous 24/7 personal AI agent designed to transform conversational AI into a proactive assistant that executes work on your behalf. Powered by Gemini 3.5 and the Antigravity harness, Spark operates continuously in the cloud—running background tasks even when your laptop is closed or your phone is locked.
Deeply integrated with Google Workspace tools like Gmail, Docs, and Slides, Gemini Spark automates multi-step workflows. It can set recurring triggers to flag hidden subscription fees on credit card statements, extract deadlines from ongoing emails to send daily summaries, or synthesize meeting notes directly into polished documents.
Spark operates strictly under user control, requesting explicit approval before executing high-stakes actions like making purchases or sending emails. Supporting Model Context Protocol (MCP) connections, Spark expands capabilities through integrations with Canva, OpenTable, and Instacart. It is rolling out to trusted testers and U.S. Google AI Ultra subscribers.
