xAI has announced a major expansion for Grok Bot, making the autonomous AI teammate available to users on multiple SuperGrok and Cursor plan tiers.
Following its initial beta release on August 11, Grok Bot is designed to act as a digital colleague capable of executing complex end-to-end tasks—such as building websites, managing email inboxes, handling customer support, and conducting research. Operating from its own cloud-based computer equipped with browser and terminal access, the agent works directly within real third-party tools while involving human users only for final approvals or judgment calls.
Under the new rollout, access is now included with SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Pro, Cursor Pro+, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams (Standard and Premium) plans. Additionally, Grok Bot usage operates independently from standard plan limits, ensuring delegated tasks do not consume regular allowance quotas.
